Are you perhaps thinking of the Sharp Zaurus SL-5500?
It ran Linux, and it has sort of rounded corners. I

I recall a palm look a like with a translucent green case, I may still have one
somewhere. AMD

I had a Palm III with rounded corners. I also had a calculator, back in the mid
'70s, with rounded corners. If you build any device that can be placed in a
pocket, it will likely have rounded corners.
