Never 100% made in Finland

My phone is a Nokia 8210 and was made in 2000. Link - Wikipedia

I am pretty certain than it was made in Finland with mostly Finnish components.
Some components were probably manufactured in Japan or Taiwan, both of which had, at the time, reasonable working conditions.
We forget how quickly China became a manufacturing superpower.

I grant you that the last battery that I bought was made in China :-)

Conditions in Europe

Conditions of European factory workers have "improved" in that they
don't work in those bad conditions anymore.

They just don't work anymore at all.
