She has a lot of discretion. And she is
unlikely to deliberately harm Apple, but
the problem is, no matter how you look at
this, Apple did not limit itself to 30
pages. That may be because in the past
she has given orders and then altered them,
but here she wasn't asked, so it's a bit
more serious, now that Samsung has put it

Let's see, Apple['s lawyers] show contempt for Koh and her court by disobeying
an order to limit their filing to 30 pages.
Simple remedy: ignore anything after the 30th page.
Apple can't complain as they were told to limit it to 30 pages, and 30 pages is
all Koh has said she will accept (and read), and so when the 30 page limit is
reached, she is perfectly reasonable to stop reading.
By the way, how is a "page" defined? I presume there is some agreed
definition which is not A0 pages with 5pt print on them...[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
