I do not know if it was this bunch had had enough. I get the feeling that the
jury was overwhlemed with the number of questions that had to be answered and
were looking for a way to approach the process.
Then there was the "Aha" moment and everything is now history from
that point.
Unfortunately, there was no one standing up to say " just a minute"
these are the instructions that we need to follow and we must follow them.
With a set of jury instructions as complex as were given, it could have taken
weeks to get through them. As much as a personal impoact as that would have
been, maybe that is what should have happened. And thru the course of that
journey a constant stream of questions for clarificaiton on points that could
not be decided within the jury room.
