My original Android Phone (HTC Hero) was getting a bit long-in-the-tooth and
slow - also unreliable (was crashing regularly - reckon I had dropped it too
many times :( ). I was looking at a variety of phones as a replacement
(including the HTC One [X+] and Google Nexus) but three things swung the
decision:
1) The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a fabulous phone - better than the iPhone 5 IMHO
2) Supports CyanogenMod - I won't buy a phone if I can't root/customize it
3) I want to support companies that stand up to patent bullies
I did consider the iPhone 5 (briefly) but Apple's attitude to their own
customers put paid to that.
<sarcasm>Well done Apple!</sarcasm> - you've lost another sale
through your own idiocy.

Support Software Freedom - use GPL licenced software like Linux and LibreOffice
instead of proprietary software like Microsoft Windows/Office or Apple OS/X[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
