Perhaps the other question to ask is how long will it take
before the patent and "ip" wars in information technology get
so out of control that it becomes impossible to assemble any
group of people without ties to one side of any issue?
(Especially in Northern California.) I hope it does not get
to the point of US elections where it is so outrageous many
people just try to avoid it.

How often do lawyers marry lawyers?
How many partners in the top few "big name" firms in California?

My Statistical nose guesses no worse than 1 in 25, based on the
"birthday"
problem, where the question is what are the odds that some two people in
a roomful share a birthday.
