I was a key witness which resulted in someone going to jail for a long time.
The actual circumstances were at least 5 or 6 years ago at this point (maybe
even a decade - time flies...) however I can remember the entire situation
absolutely clearly as if it was yesterday - it was very traumatic being
questioned
by the defendant's barrister.
I very much doubt that should circumstances lead to him being on a jury for me
- or vice versa - either of us will forget each other and put aside prejudice

The time limit might be intended to prevent someone from serving on a jury more
than once every ten years. He might then have carried on with the 10 year limit
on his mind when answering the rest of the questions. Answering the question he
thought was asked, or wanted asked, rather than the actual question.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
