aircrack-ng does WPA2 too.

Hence the need for a good passphrase that you change often.

Using a GPU has made processing large numbers of passwords much faster than in
the past.

OLD router. Did it even *have* WPA2? I think it might not even have had WPA.

Pretty much all routers supplied by ISPs nowadays come secured out-of-the-box
with a sticker with the SSID and key on them. Much simpler for those who don't
have a clue.

My only problem with MAC is it's annoying. It applies to ALL connections, even
over the wired network, whereas it really only makes sense on the wireless.
