A fix? No not at all.
Try using the idea, in court, that you will stop filesharing as a fix, it won't
work.
ON THE SUBJECT OF THE CLOCK
Swiss railways still holds the trademark for the clock designed by Zurich-born
engineer Hans Hilfiker in 1944. They licensed the Mondaine Group to have rights
to make clocks and wristwatches for consumers, based on the 20th-century design
classic.
Apple pretends to be really moralist about copying and they themselves copy and
give themselves licence to use the IP of others.
Steve Jobs was willing to destroy Apple in his war against Google. His complaint
primarily being that Google copied Apple's smart phone.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Apple filed for a design patent on the
clock. Actually, it would be more surprising to me if it didn't.
Steve Jobs ethos on copying:
“Good artists copy, great artists steal. And we [Apple] have always been
shameless about stealing great ideas.”
One standard for Steve Jobs is made by him and for him and only applies to him
and the company he runs.
He designed petty, cruel and opposing standards for his competition.
When you are GOD you can do that. But there are people who just think they are
GOD but they aren't. RIP
