Since the tables are USA-only, the top one doesn't consider Samsung's Bada OS
and I suspect Android is stronger globally than in USA.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I am not surprised. When MS announced that there would be no upgrades to WP8 on
current (or indeed any) WP7 phones it killed the market. Of course the message
may not have got to everyone yet, but it seems likely that the current quarter
will show even fewer sales. WP7 phones will go into the bargain bin, but are
essentially dead.
When WP8 phones hit the market they will be completely new hardware with a
completely new OS. Even Windows RT has not been released yet, not even a beta.
It will be version 0.9 of WOA.
