I saw this more as an attempt to stop Apple getting to the foreman and telling
him to shut up. Now they can interview him/get him to 'set the record straight'
as it's the huge weakness in all that's happening at the moment.

I agree with Webster. Samsung was just making sure the judge doesn't become
again upset with their lawers by publicly showing all the information they had.
For Samsung and all of Groklaw it is a good thing that she denied the sealing.
Now we can read everything too.
