My non-lawyer mind probably still has it wrong, but ISTM that MS
has persuaded the US courts that they are negotiating a contract
(license) in the US which will become a "worldwide" license, thus
the German decsion should not pre-empt these negotiations.
I have the audio of the oral arguments, but I think I fell asleep
about one third way thru after nobody could agree what comity means,
and the Bench were desperately trying to ensure it didn't matter here...

What happens if the German court decides to tell the US judge usurping their
authority to shove it and issues the injunction anyway?
