"The people" does not want one thing.
People want different things. What is
best for one person might be useless to
another. Apple is not right for everyone.
An abundance of choice is not good, but
I mostly appreciate having more choice than
between exactly one current product and one
previous generation product at a discount
price, which is really all the choice you
have when buying an Apple phone or tablet.

Odd way to spell "market research", or "copying the best of other
people's ideas", but American and English are very different languages I
suppose.
