IN my opinion Mr. Assange is not the altruist he likes to portray himself as.

I'd surely be concerned if the US Armed Forces and Commander-in-Chief designated
him an ally.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Don't you get it? Ecuador is doing the US a favor. The US wants to lock
Assange up. Problem is, they haven't been able to find a law that he broke. So
the US just used his paranoia to get him to lock himself up. Ecuador just
supplied the room.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

This pretty much explains why Sweden has repeatedly refused to allow
"questioning" Julian, in say London, where Sweden has it's own
embassies as the cost of a flight from Sweden to London is as cheap as $25. You
can bet, the minute he lands in Sweden he'd be heading for a direct flight to
the US or Guantanamo.
Pretty much confirms the whole conspiracy with the US, Sweden and the UK. I'll
bet there's no paper trail though.
Proof positive the US wants to execute him. In my book.
