Neither heroes nor saints have to be pleasant

Whether Assange is a person you would want to have as a guest in your house is
completely irrelevant. He has outed war crimes performed by the USA, as well as
a lot of shady (and criminal) behavior by many parties. He did it in the face of
danger. So that makes him a hero in my book.

I do not care whether I like him as a person. History knows many heroes and
saints that I would not have touched with a pole.
