You know what really astounds me? That Boies
would imagine it would work out.

I don't personally believe that Jacobs thought
it would work, but in a team effort, you
don't always win every issue.

So forward they plowed, imagining this was
one of the 10 most important pieces of
evidence, when in reality it was nothing at
all. They initially thought it was
significant, when it showed up without a
date from a cache. But surely once the
date was known, they had to realize it was
a losing gambit.

It totally puzzles me that they went
forward after they knew the date.
