I believe it was pushed down. I believe what we saw was the bounce and

Partly bounce, but not only bounce I think. There is a hugely powerful current
of air (and ping pong balls) flowing up out of the plastic bin. As the explosive
pressure in th e bin (which was the source of that flow) abruptly cuts off it
creates a situation where there is very low pressure above the bin which sucks

Mind you, I think the warm water should have been the *last* thing in the
bucket, not the first.
Any idea why it wasn't?

1) Floor may have contributed, depressed by bang - recoiled
2) Bin ballooned on bang, return to shape + overshoot thrust off floor
