Yes it is possible to automate them. But there is a fault in the Human DNA that
means that when we see a blank page / wall we feel a need to write on it.

At least with the canonical four threads the scrawlers get to do something
useful.

Yes, of course it is possible. The point is the canonical threads were created
[at least partly] by Groklaw visitors and not PJ. It's all about FOSS. She put
out a blog and users came in and freely hacked it in the comments to make it, if
at all possible, better, and encourage community involvement.

It's all simply a further proof of the power of FOSS and openness, where
creativity is encouraged and not regulated.

Who knows some day there may be a further canonical thread, or come up with a
different an novel order of the mto make it all even better.
