That would be a very painful way to try to get the issue on the political
agenda. How about a protest march to East Texas! It might be more effective than
a protest march to Washington. They are very used to protest marches in
Washington and tend to ignore them. A couple thousand computer programmers and
tech people marching to East Texas to protest outside the courthouse against
insane patent enforcement might be noticed though. Not that anyone who works for

They patented a method of using it as a distributed database tag.
Think what patents you would need to protect the mechanics and
business model of Morpheus and KaZaA. When the courts put those
out on the streets the backers still had their precious EyePee, and
degraded into a Patent Troll.
