M$ may be accountable, whatever that means (most likely
you get a patch sometime later.) But liable? I doubt it.
When has M$ ever paid recompense to someone whose winblows
computer destroyed their data, nuke plant, security system,
etc because it got cracked?

They are telling the truth there, albeit deceptively. They are just as
accountable as other players in the copyright software - but that is because
they *all* use EULAs to make themselves unaccountable. MS is just as
accountable as all the other unaccountable entities.
