(along with 6 Washington citizens) would overrule.

It's the latter, covering only the products sold in Germany that infringe the
German patents registered in Germany.

As each country has separate patent registration and rules regarding the
validity, enforcement, and so on, it can be common for lawsuits across the globe
over each individual company's patents in each individual country (See Apple Vs.
Samsung in the UK, Korea, Japan, and the US as separate trials over different
individual patents in each country covering the same features - Legitimacy of
those patents in question non-withstanding).

The German action is about German law, and
infringement in Germany.
