Bad idea, Motorola lawyers know they would get kicked out of
the german courtroom.

Nevertheless, MS might cause a political issue here in the
long run - the souveranity of european and german courts and
jurisdiction shall be threatend for the financial interests
of a (evaluated from a global perspective unnecessary)
software company?

Shall Obama send troops to defend the right of MS to sell
XBoxes infringing german / european patent law over there?

Nope

Tradewars? Looking at the economic figures - would be
stupid.

To be supersure, follow the money. Because only Money would
make someone nod his head at inappropriate times. How much
money is MS investing in the actual presidential campaigns?
