Personally - I wouldn't read too much into it

Looking at the 5 day trend shows the stocks slowly moving up.

The one month trend kinda shows Nokia stock on a yo-yo effect. Currently the yo-yo is rolling up the string.

The three month trend shows a pretty deep dip in July with the stock trending upwards since.

The 6% could very well have had absolutely nothing to do with the enhancement and simply been part of the trend.

But I wouldn't be at all surprised if PR (Public Relations) wasn't trying to make the up-tick look more impressive then it really is just to try and make things appear a little rosier then they really are.

Share price was back down by noon and didn't jump again

It was a few-hour blip that peaked by 10:30 and was back down by noon. I would bet that a press release apologizing about something as trivial as yet another example of an ad being misleading made no impression on investors at all.

Wall Street analysts talking about short term fluctuations in stock prices and ascribing them to investors reacting to coincident events reminds me of the xkcd take on sports commentators: Sports
