My main point is:
It is not the apps that prevent you doing
that
It is the proprietary companies that don't want to allow you to do
that so they don't build that into the apps
What part of:
The
developers are responsible for building functionality into the App - Business
managers control the developers
Are you failing to grasp? The apps don't
magically have functionality.
I don't know which FLOSS apps you use on
your phone. Perhaps you can identify the specific FLOSS app you use and what
access it requires that you'd rather it not have? You stated:
Which
leads me to conclude there's
not much difference between the two camps on that
point.
So you must be using an actual FLOSS application that's
tracking you and serving up adds.... which one is it?
