iPad is supposedly 91% of tablet web traffic ...
Authored by: nsomos on Wednesday, September 12 2012 @ 02:51 PM EDT
To me this smacks of how MS always claims how much of
the desktop market they have got. (As if nobody ever
used Linux) Or how MS would always claim they have
so much of the browser market. (Or any market for that matter)

I am reminded of how other browsers would report themselves
as IE just to be able to get content, and MS would use that
to claim how overwhelmingly IE was used over others.

Could by any chance something similar be going on with tablets?

Or maybe other tablets get the job done with less use of bandwidth.

Color me skeptical. ... just saying ....

that other kind of lies, and browser stats.
Where is Tim Cooking his figures? How does he separate Tablets from Mobile?
If you want to inspire confidence, give plenty of statistics. It does not matter that they should be accurate, or even intelligible, as long as there is enough of them - Lewis Carroll
iOS 24% gs.statcounter   iOS 34% business-insider   Safari 65% arstechnica

iOS 66% netmarketshare   iOS 68% marketshare   iOS 86% pingdom

Aha, maybe this one? Android and iPhone 91% jumptap
