Can you show criminal intent?

It is still a crime whether you intend it to be or not.

Really? I run over someone, by accident, now he's dead, no crime?

Most places, that's manslaughter... and I would think jury tampering wouldn't
require much of a mens rea either. Just contempt of court...on Hogan's part.

There's *GOT* to be a mistrial on the way....Judge Koh, please call Judge Alsup,
ask for help!!!

Criminal intent not required.

He has no intent of doing wrong, and quite accidently runs a red light and kills
someone in the cross walk.

But he argues in court that he didn't have any criminal intent kill anyone.

Based on this argument he is found not-guilty of the criminal charge of
involuntary manslaugher.

Is this what you would like us to swallow?
