Thank you for that. I got a third of the way through and lost the will to live,
only just retaining my sanity by groping for and finding the 'close tab'
button.
The problem there is that shouty people are all shouting without having a common
vocabulary. They don't agree what "open" means; they don't agree
where the boundaries between hardware, operating system, operating environment,
applications and support services lie with respect to the Google Android
ecosystem; and they don't agree about whether OHA members should be bound by the
alliances rules.

The Open Handset Alliance is Open so long as members don't mess
with the One True Android. I guess they have a point, life's too
short to waste it herding the cats of 357 different distros.
