Yes, I'm afraid you are right, in a way. While I recollect the statement
"running around in circles", I cannot be sure if it was from a fanboy
or from Apple themselves.

So, your perspective is there. No doubt. Maybe my memory isn't as sharp as it
used to be. And the claim at

It looks ok today, but I do have memories that the any G3 speed claims were
fiercely disputed at the time. Maybe these linked data have been modified to
clarify matters.
