However, as a "republic" that it was, it had to craft a
compromise on a destiny that all in the various areas could
agree on. That was the challenge, and why it took so long
to craft the language (years, vs far less on health care
bill as an example).

Ben had a vision, and was the father of the compromise parts
of the document that ended up most lasting thru time, as
elements of all agreed on the "ideas" that appealed to their
sense of right and wrong. Over time, we made tea.

We are still making tea. However, not all were of the
opinion that the parent tells of..., and in time we learned
that without the language that prevailed thru the test of
time, that we would not be where we are today, and where we
are going tomorrow.

That was what the founders were after (the real founders).
The real founders who were also inventors, wanted KISS -
Keep it simple stupid (only today, we have lawyers
who can't resist making it more complicated than it needs to
be).
