Well, in this case, unfortunately, Interval needs to lose this. Which means
Apple need to win.
Of course, in the ideal situation, Apple will trot out all the reasons that
Interval should lose this, and then Samsung can use those statements against
them in their appeal.
Nothing like using someone's own words against them. And Apple has to defend
against pretty much exactly what they were throwing now :)[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

It seems that very little of these lawsuits get any serious,
accurate news coverage by the major media here in the US.
All I have seen is a few pro-Apple pieces. Most people here
in the US only seem to care about what new useless gadget
they must buy today as instructed by the TV ads. As far as
as I can tell, most people don't even know that all this
legal fighting is even happening, and really don't care
anyway.

Don't let emotion interfere with logic. Never root for
patent aggression. Unless it's your logic that
the worse it gets the sooner patent reform is
possible.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

So which of these two patent trolls do you see as 'the dark side?'
Sadly, Allen has already gotten his money, so there's not much we can do about
him. However, I am optimistic that Interval has no real chance of winning.
Apple is an active business, on the other hand, so think carefully before you
choose to own anything with an Apple logo on it. Do you really want to support
such an aggressive patent troll? Do you?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
