If there is a weak link, like the Java hole, then what does that do to the whole
security stack?
Dumb terminals, no flashable rom, no flashable bios, encrypted, SSH, SSL, etc,
to ports open for one purpose, then, maybe to an Intel Chip of the future, that
is set to "allow only" certain data types to function in the data
construct area at all (using Multi-factor authentication) and then in the end,
using a game theory applied solution, if possible (explained that to a neighbor
who was part of the CERN team who did Higgs work). However, the probem we both
agreed on, was even with a game theory application, the passing of a key would
still be needed. And, that is where, we then got down into particle physics as
an answer to supply keys in a way that they would be almost invisible to
standard detection devices to discover...
This is an old idea now, and so is in itself, prior art.
And really, it just follows that there is nothing new, just plain obvious, and
the tech exists that has been invented for other uses, so would be a combination
of known discovery, so that make it also not worthy of a patent.
Of course, the USPTO would not see it that way, as they have shown themselves to
be inept, at any knowledge of science and math (so issues patents like other
government agencies hand out food stamps).
