Apple is scared NOT
Authored by: BJ on Monday, September 03 2012 @ 04:54 PM EDT
It was from my own first hand observation dating back five years ago and since.

On a side note: why is your first reflex always to defend the breed? Because
the alternative (by others) seems to be to always thoroughly ridicule and
lambast them?

Surely there must be a rational middle ground?

Yes, I'm cutting corners (pun intended!) but, no -- from my persepctive, a
lawyer, attorney what have you is too often a combination of designer clothes
and Apple iPhone -- both rather ostensible.

Talk about trade dress...!

With the honourable exceptions of at least one judge in the Oragoogle case, and several lawyers such as Eben Moglen, not forgetting Mark.

But in general, I fear that you are totally correct, and that is why so much nonsense happens as a result of rogue CEOs like Darl McBride and legal firms like BSF who are technically clueless.

It has to change. The legal system must somehow adapt to be able to handle the challenges of the era of technology, or there will be many insuperable problems coming. Governments have to become clued-up too.
