Never Bought Anything From Apple Myself and I Agree!
Authored by: JamesK on Monday, September 03 2012 @ 12:24 PM EDT
I have never owned an Apple product either and don't intend to start now.
However, in the early days of Apple it was Steve Wozniak who was the real
genius. He's the one that managed to squeeze so much function out of so little
hardware that enabled Apple to reduce the cost of their computers.

Coining the Term "App"
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, September 04 2012 @ 12:05 AM EDT
It was the developers in the BeOS project that coined the term "App" in the first place.
So that's who's to blame!

And this bit was literally true

if another company ... does the same (even if they do this before Apple), that's stealing or copying Apple.

That was one of the biggies in the Apple v Samsung trial. Apple was allowed to tell the jury that a Samsung product was "copied", but Samsung wasn't allowed to present the evidence that showed their product had been designed first.
