So can show continuity of decent from builders. The next target will be Italy
because of the proliferation of Roman structures also infringing. Seem to have
forgotten Dr. Who's defense of the UK.

Apple sues the planet Earth
Authored by: Anonymous on Saturday, September 01 2012 @ 02:16 PM EDT
A spokesman for Apple revealed the details of Apple's latest court filings:

"The planet Earth is basically a rectangle with rounded corners. In fact
the corners are so rounded that you could almost say it was circular. It's also
a good deal fatter than our phones, in fact you could say it was more of a
sphere. Nevertheless, we believe it to be infringing our design patents, so we
are suing the planet Earth for willfull infringement."

Court cases against the sun, moon, several planets and number of other
astronomical bodies may follow.

What about the Sumerians, Egyptians and Vikings?
Authored by: knarf on Saturday, September 01 2012 @ 04:43 PM EDT

What about the Sumerians, Egyptians and Vikings? Think they should be able to just go along in the history books, blatantly copying FruitCo's insanely great inventions without ponying up? No sirree, once someone invents a time machine and Fruit happens to be able to get a patent on something which they did not invent (again), they'll be at Enki's throat, Gizeh will be razed and Hagbard can swim home.

The HHGTTG explains: Apple asks UK government for $1 trillion for . . .
Authored by: grokpara on Sunday, September 02 2012 @ 08:14 AM EDT
Douglas Adams writes of the Hitchhiker's Guide's entry on the geo-social nature
of the universe:

". . . the editors, having to meet a publishing deadline, copied the
information off the back of a packet of breakfast cereal, hastily embroidering
it with a few footnotes in order to avoid prosecution under the incomprehensibly
tortuous Galactic Copyright laws.

"It is interesting to note that a later and wilier editor sent the book
backwards in time through a temporal warp, and then successfully sued the
breakfast cereal company for infringement of the same laws."
