It looks like it was never released according to this Pen
Computing article. Of course, that doesn't stop it being prior art - and it
being announced at one of the World's main consumer electronics trade shows,

Archos had many tablet designs on sale prior to the iPad. This youtube video is

And that is something like their sixth generation tablet.
They also had a hard drive based mp3 player prior to the iPod. But at least as
far as the US tech media is concerned, Archos never existed. You would not have
known that Archos was selling Android tablets before the iPad was even
announced.
