The registry is one of the most stupid Microsoft inventions. It grows insanely
in size and is not safe from fragmentation. It were defragmented automatically
periodicly it would not be as bad.
If then some stupid application program - most of them commercial - would use
their own configuration and not poison the registry it would nearly be workable.
Still a brain-lame idea but at least it wouldn't crash as often.
One can't get everything.
