I couldn't make out from the article whether the administration's
'investigation' was itself an attempt to discredit Quinn, or just a bit of
auditing (either done at random, or to preserve transparency after the Boston
Globe started mudslinging) that the Globe attempted to make a story out of.
PJ and some of the commenters seemed to think it was the Globe that was at
fault, but I may well have missed something.

First, keep politics off Groklaw. Read our
comments policy, please.
Secont, that was a Get the Facts style of article,
which was totally creepy. Without entering
politics in any way, the history is that the
now candidate was the first to take a stand in
behalf of ODF. Then, when Microsoft started to
attack, he eventually lost interest, but that is a simplification. The
investigation of Quinn found
him totally innocent.

We have it all preserved for posterity, though, if
you are curious. Just click on the <a

day by day, literally for years.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
