Rounded Corners are basic to any decent portable design
Authored by: mcinsand on Tuesday, August 28 2012 @ 03:27 PM EDT
For a portable object, rounded corners are just long-established utilitarian
design. Sharp corners do not make for a good portable device, as established
for decades and longer.

After looking at recent phone equipment, I tend to agree with the parent. Apple
is like MS; both companies started out targeting the personal/hobby market, and
neither has really grown up. There are many good reasons that neither is
prominent in HPC's or (reliable) servers. For those, you need performance,
flexibility, and something you can trust.

Does anybody do research anymore or do they prefer to pull stuff out of their
a$$....iPhones are big in corporate America and have displaced blackberries.

aren't rounded corners a very feminine design? ...
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, August 28 2012 @ 08:22 PM EDT

Really? A public discussion? Here's my contribution. I have four active Macs and know of a half dozen more for which I'm the friend/family administrator.

All good. No hardware problems.

I'm sure you felt that was as useless to read as I thought it was useless to say.

I have round corners on my SUV
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, August 29 2012 @ 02:31 AM EDT
Even if someone thinks round corners are femine, I don't care and here is why:

I'm a fully confident hetersexual and it would take more than someone like you
to make a dent in my confidence.

iPhone vs Batteries not Included
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, August 29 2012 @ 07:44 AM EDT
Agreed on the battery issue. It's pretty indicative of them not trusting their
users. Same reason for the one-button mouse. More than one button is too
complicated for their target market.
