Yep, jury foreman with patent experience figured out how to guide the jury
through the patent evaluation process to reach the *opposite* result he
initially expected going in.

How *devious*!

Strange that he keeps on talking. Do you suppose he is one of those types of
people that just can't keep his mouth shut?

He says that he was surprised when he hit = and got a total of $1,049 million. Except, why did he write $1,051 on the form and then have to be sent back to get the right total... Clearly he is memory is slowly being fixed to an easier reality to believe.

But considering that they decided on an award something like halfway between Apple's ($2.5bil) request and Samsung's counter of $.5bil, it should not surprise an engineer that he got an number like $1bil.
