Why the Apple-Samsung verdict is GOOD for YOU, your KIDS and TECH
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, August 28 2012 @ 12:38 PM EDT
"this is a small victory for democracy over technocracy, and against the
administration of justice by self-selecting elites."
"the jury foreman [...] a 67-year-old engineer"

How do you resolve that?

I do hope he keeps yammering at the press, it will make dealing with his
mistakes far easier.

Orlowski is the guy the IP fascists call 'extremist'. He never saw a limitation
on human thought or speech or activity that he didn't love. His approach is that
if we all had to pay each other to have similar ideas, or do similar things,
we'd all be rich beyond the wildest dreams of avarice. No cost to society is
anything like high enough, no punishment for anything resembling the possibility
of infringement severe enough, to satisfy him.

The man is a complete loon. I'm convinced El Reg only keeps him around for the
page hits.

Saw the headline in my RSS reader and thought "Orlowski" and just passed.

Page views are his stock and trade.

Enough said.

Where's Florian?? (or, I have a bridge for sale to you, today only, special price, hurry!)
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, August 29 2012 @ 12:03 AM EDT
It's in Brooklyn, of course!

El Reg is being shill-fed, time for a Florian Mueuller check!

Not one of the patents in this suit on either side should have ever issued.
