Other than Google, which "high street names" are acutally doing a good
job supporting FLOSS?

Apple is still the name on CUPS.
Even MS keep the VM stuff for dealing with their OSs up-to-date when they're
pushed to.
Are there any companies that aren't supporting FLOSS in one way or another?

The Ecosystem is FOSS, Google encourages 3rd parties

Well, the lightweight push-email client I use is K9, that is FOSS. And
"Subsonic." The GrooveIP is not FOSS, but is independently developed
based on the Google Voice infrastructure. So is the "AndroidLost." So
are "Mytrails" and "Metro." Wow -- as I look over my
appscreens, most of the key apps are FOSS or XDA developed. And very few were
purchased, the most expensive being Titanium Backup at $5 or so...
