Yeah, and? Pre-dating makes it worse that Android takes the turn toward
being iCloneOS. The web is rife with the visual evidence of Android's turn
toward clonedom. It was a steady iterating of designs to simply look like
the market leader. Google is just playing FOSS to suit its own needs to
commodity competing products.
I love FOSS as much as the next person, but that is not what this battle is

The first Android phone was the HTC Dream released in October 2008. The first
iPhone was released June 2007.
