I don't think you can find any technical journalist that has any usable
technical skill to make a difference, they are to far gone into the copy-paste
land.
It was sorry a day when technical magazines started hiring people with only
journalistic skills. They can use words but they don't know what they are
writing about. I take en engineer any day their prose might be bad but they not
only know their subject they love it.

I'm thinking that if a cartoonist can raise a million dollars
for a Tesla museum, Groklaw ought to be able to raise enough
for coverage. But there's one problem: you'd need to de-link
the money and the coverage so that it can't be argued that
Groklaw is a shill for X, and I'm not sure how you'd do that.
Perhaps an independent Trust paying some annual amount?
PJ and Mark couldn't be the trustees without conflict of
interest, so it would have to be someone else we trust. The
