Maybe it's about FOSS, and maybe it's not. It's too soon to tell. But PJ's
intuition seems to be telling her it is.

There's one thing for sure, the extension of the patent system is a definite
threat to FOSS, because patents disproportionately favor the rich (big) over the
poor (small), where as FOSS is equitable.

Someone else invented the multi-touch screen (Diamond Touch)
Someone else invented the mobile phone (Motorola)
Someone else invented the smart phone (The IBM Simon)

Rectangles with round corners, and icons with round corners are photoshop 101.

Just because apple did it better than everyone else shouldn't mean that they can
charge everyone for the privilege.
