Lets be clear again.
Apple is winning patent cases over inventions they did NOT
invent.
Apple has decided to try to block companies across the
globe, often using these patents.
Many of these patents are in regards to physical interaction
with devices. Akin to patenting methods and hand
combinations.
Apple, from the very top of the corporation, as stated by
Steve Jobs, has the desire destroy Android.
Steve Jobs:
" I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will
spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to
right this wrong. I'm going to destroy Android, because it's
a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on
this. "
Interesting statement from a man who owes his success to
repackaging already invented ideas. The desire to destroy
Android (a FOSS project), is what Apple intends to do.
At this point, its clear that there are a large number of
Apple enthusiasts that are in denial about what their
favorite company has become. Apple has employed an army of
lawyers across the continents of the globe, whom seem to be
fairly focused on Android related legal actions.
I do not understand how someone cannot see this as abuse of
the patent and legal system.
It is, what it is. It needs to be called out.
