Correct! PJ is the arbiter of account creation
Authored by: celtic_hackr on Wednesday, August 29 2012 @ 11:45 AM EDT
PJ had to disable account creation because of abuse of the process by SCO, et
al. They were re-upping with new identities, from different IPs and emails
faster than she could disable their accounts. IIRC.

To get an account email PJ. It's the only way. For probably the first year, I
only commented via AC, and never logged in. When I finally decided to start
signing my posts, I'd forgotten my password. So I thought to just abandon my
account and create a new one. By then it was already locked down, so I had to
email PJ to either get into my account or create a new one.

I decided to use my login in so I'd be distinguished from trolls and whatnot,
as I don't always agree with PJ. Nor do we share the same faith in the legal
process. Although, I sense she's come a bit more in my direction as a result of
all that has transpired. She, though has also pulled me more in her direction
than I would have thought possible, although less than I was hoping she could.

We still disagree about many things, and that's good. I don't want to live in a
world with only one opinion on life, the Universe, and Everything. We might as
well all join the Vogon armada, if that is to be the case.
