Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Tab2 10.1
Authored by: BJ on Monday, August 27 2012 @ 06:40 PM EDT
I've had one for over a year. Have a tab2 currently.
I can really recommend it. Gets me connected while
on the road.

The sur-surrealism of an Apple-store
Authored by: BJ on Monday, August 27 2012 @ 07:10 PM EDT
What I wanted to say: when I got my Galaxy Tab a year ago I never bothered to
even check out the Apple stuff. I had owned an Apple iPad (mea culpa) for maybe
2 years before. After purchase was soon peed off by the closed-up paradigm that
surrounded it.

I entered an Apple store only a few times after my iPad purchase. I've been in
computing for some 25+ years, and know my stuff sufficiently enough hardware-,
software- and legal-wise, but here in this Apple store, even the sales people
walked around with Steve Jobs and Apple-in-general-like attitudes like it's
nobody's business -- and thus somehow with a giant super-human chip on their
shoulder.

I just smirked, shrugged and walked on out of there.

Unintended consequences

Heard somewhere on the net:

'People are saying.
"Wow - are the Samsung phones really that similar to iPhones? Look at the
price difference - I'm getting one!"'
