Perhaps not. However appearance/colour is a different matter.

Note also that most chocolate bars of the type you describe are
poured into an open mold and the block is tapered for easy
extraction. Elsewhere here someone observed that bars of
soap are round cornered rectangles. Most of those soaps
are formed in closed molds, so the corners are round again
for easy extraction and to prevent clogging. Form meets function.
