You know, I don't care what those random "outsiders" think, if such a
bunch exists at all.

I am a long time reader, and occasional commenter of Groklaw. I do work for a
company that is stuck deep in the patent minefield, too (PJ can check this via
my IP address if she wants to know). I am fortunately not involved in that part
of my employer's operation, I am an engineer, not a lawyer, and I have an
interest in the future of the industry I work in. I do, of course, only speak
for my own, not for my employer, and I won't name him.

I disagree fundamentally with PJs view of the US law system. IMHO it is broken
beyond believe. Even a third-world country would be ashamed of it.

So, why do I come back reading here for years, if I disagree with some of PJs
opinions? Because PJ is honest. An opinion is given as an opinion. A fact is
presented as a fact. I don't trust journalists as far as I could throw them. And
don't get me started about "analysts". PJ's comment policy prohibits
to clearly express what I think about them (PJ's comment policy is another thing
I don't agree with. Sometimes you have to call a ... what he/she is, a ...).

Anyhow, groklaw will survive those random "outsiders". It has survived
SCO threats and attacks.
