I really don't know about the Psystar case, so forgive me if I'm off here, but
is the distinction that you're making that:
If Psystar had bought copies of OSX, installed them and then modified them, it
would have been non copyright violating. But for them to buy copies of OSX,
modify one of them, and duplicate it to each computer is copyright violating?
What if they had bought multiple copies, but installed it on every machine using
the same disc?
For all I know you're technically right (if I understand you correctly). But it
seems to me the system is broken if paying the same but loading the software in
the most convenient manner is what makes the difference between violation and
non-violation.
